Market
trends
Design is the second key element after
location in the growth of the hospitality
sector. The boutique hotel concept has
become synonymous with contemporary
quality for non-standardised hotels
with a limited number of rooms, and
personalised service.
The number of boutique hotels has grown
from 4 to 14% of all hotels in just
5 years, and as a concept has delivered
by far the greatest ROI. These results
are inciting big hotel chains to follow
the example with more personalised and
individually design interiors for hotels.
And now, design features have dropped
from just being the domain of 3 and
4 star hotels to reach more and more
2 star hotels.
It does not stop there… Restaurants,
Clinics, Hospitals, Leisure Centre,
Gymnasiums, Lawyers Offices, Clubs,
Government buildings….. the drive is
on to provide a more hospitable design
for customers, staff and visitors.
